The Aylesham Village extension proposal is the culmination of many years of hard work and consultation, culminating in the appointment of Ward Homes Ltd and Hillreed Homes Ltd being appointed in July 2006 as preferred developer partners with the Land owners Dover District Council.

Since this time a hybrid planning application has been submitted, in September 2007 and following a period of further consultation a full resubmission was lodged with Dover District Council Planning Department on 6th October 2008.
