Council seeks your views

12 March, 2018

Dover District Council is seeking the views of residents as part of a consultation around widening Public Space Protection Orders across its area – which includes a new one in Aylesham.

The council wishes to include the recreation ground alongside Aylesham Welfare & Leisure Centre, off Spinney Lane. If approved, dogs would be excluded from a number of pitches at the location as well as the multi-use games area and tennis courts from Saturday 28 July.

The council is particularly keen to hear from dog owners and what it would mean for them. Residents have until Monday 9 April to submit their comments to the council. This can be done online by visiting the council’s website www.dover.gov.uk/Environment/Environmental-Crime/Public-Spaces-Protection-Order/Public-Spaces-Protection-Order.aspx

Alternatively, you can write to the council via Public Spaces Protection Order Consultation, FREEPOST RLTB-XUHH-XSLR, Dover District Council, Regulatory Services, White Cliffs Business Park, Dover CT16 3PJ or email envcrime@dover.gov.uk
