Housebuilder can help you get in shape

9 March, 2020

Barratt Homes is offering Aylesham residents the chance to boost their fitness in April with free boot camp group exercise classes.

The first of four weekly sessions will be held on the village green on Saturdays 4, 11, 18 and 25 April from 10:30am until 11:30am. All sessions will be led by personal trainer, Cressida The Real Bodies Coach (@therealbodiescoach). She will coach the group through a series of movements and workouts so everyone can access the exercises safely and feel challenged.

The classes will be a fun mix of movements for the upper body, lower body and core, including games and all fitness levels are welcome. People taking part should wear comfortable sports clothing and appropriate footwear. They may also bring a bottle of water, a towel if they wish and any weather appropriate items. Please arrive 10 to 15 minutes before the first session start time to complete a PARQ form to confirm you are safe to exercise.

Cressida said: “This is a fantastic way to get to know other members of your community, to enjoy the spring air and have fun moving around. My training style focuses on real bodies and I encourage everyone, including beginners, to come along, exercise and have fun!”
There are 20 spaces available per session, and those interested can register for one or multiple sessions by sending their name and age via email to community@building-relations.co.uk. Places will be offered on a first come, first served basis.

Natalie Perry, sales and marketing director for Barratt Kent, said: “We are pleased to offer this exciting free boot camp activity at Aylesham thanks to the fantastic open green space at the development. The activity will be a great way for residents and the local community to meet new people and increase their fitness levels in a fun, safe environment.”
