Parish council to hold public meeting

16 May, 2018

Aylesham Parish Council is inviting residents to a public meeting next Monday (21 May) to discuss plans around the former Royal British Legion Club in Burgess Road.

The meeting will begin at 7pm in St Peter’s church hall in Dorman Avenue North when all will be welcome.

The parish council is keen to hear residents’ views on the issue ahead of making its own comments to Dover District Council about the planning application.

The owners have applied to build two storey and three storey side extensions to facilitate conversion into 19 self contained flats and a public house, along with vehicle access and parking spaces.

Interested residents have until Tuesday 29 May to submit their comments, either in favour or against the development, to Dover District Council. The plans can be viewed, and comments submitted, via its planning portal found on quoting reference no 18/00300.
